Gun Control In The News Again

It's in the news again and I knew it would be after the AZ shootings. In the State Of The Union the Not So Great Obama didn't say a word about gun control but now some of the people in the White House are saying that within weeks we will see some new ideas on the gun laws and making it harder to get a gun if you have mental problems or you are crazy. OK I'm good with keeping the guns out of the hands of crazy people but I don't know how they are going to do this without making it crazy for the rest of us. I remember Jesse Ventura said, "That when the Government is helping us to be safer, Get ready because we are about to lose some of our freedoms" and I believe him because he is right! Every time some crazy person shoots and kills, the leaders of this country think that what is needed is more gun control and more gun laws. I have to tell you I live in a state where there are more gun laws than to can shake a stick at and let me tell you more laws don't make is safer!!! I own guns and when I go to buy a new one I still have to wait the ten days for a long gun or handgun, I can only buy one handgun a month, ten shot mags are all we can have unless you can find someone who will sell you a pre-ban 20 round mag and if you do find one you will pay out the ass for it, and no open carry in this state.  With all the laws they have here for guns and ammo you still have killings with guns! Now how is that because if you follow the not so great leaders of this poop stain of a country you would know that more control and more laws will equal less or no gun crime. I'm not one of the people who think we need no gun laws because we do need laws in place to keep guns out of the wrong hands. But the 2nd Amendment gives me and other Americans the right to keep and bear arms and that right SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!!!! We all need to wake up because the fools are running loose in Washington D.C. and are about to try to run off with our rights to Keep And Bear Arms. Make a stand for freedom!!

Some Fun

This was sent to me in an E-Mail from a friend, very funny!
A little boy wanted

$100.00 very badly and prayed for weeks, but nothing happened .

Then he decided to write God a letter requesting the $100.00.
When The postal authorities received the letter addressed to
God , USA .
They decided to send it to: President Obama.
Obama was so amused that he instructed his secretary to send the little boy a $ 5.00 bill.
He thought this would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy.
The little boy was delighted with the $5.00 bill and sat down to write a thank-you
note to God, which read:
Dear God: Thank
you very much for sending
the money. However, I noticed that
for some reason you sent it
through Washington, D.C. and those
assholes took $95.00 in taxes.

Mock City Rises At Marine Base For Urban Training

By JULIE WATSON, Associated Press Julie Watson, Associated Press
Tue Jan 25,

SAN DIEGO – A mock city roughly the size of downtown San Diego has risen in a remote Southern California desert to train military forces to fight in urban environments.

The $170 million urban training center was unveiled Tuesday at the Twentynine Palms military base, 170 miles northeast of San Diego.

The 1,560-building facility will allow troops to practice and refine skills that can be used around the world, the Marine Corps said.

The military has been opening a slew of mock Afghan villages at bases across the country to prepare troops for battle before they are deployed.

The new training center is one of the largest and most elaborate.

Seven separate mock city districts spread across 274 acres of desert.

The fake markets, hotels and other businesses are complete with actors who create scenarios that pose a full range of challenges from humanitarian relief efforts to peacekeeping to police work and direct combat, according to the Marine Corps.

More than 15,000 Marines and sailors can train simultaneously in the massive simulator to experience the difficulties they will face during deployments as they communicate, coordinate, maneuver and operate in such settings, according to the Marine Corps.

Along with what they can plainly see, Marines in training will search for escape tunnels, hiding places, weapons caches and other dangerous spaces. The facility has almost 1,900 feet of underground tunnels, a manmade riverbed and dozens of courtyards and compounds.

The Marine Corps says the simulators help expose troops to the chaos and stress of close combat, so they can think on their feet once they are on the battlefield and be psychologically prepared for traumatic events.

The new center expanded a similar training program called Mojave Viper that launched in 2005 to prepare troops for the Iraq war.

In November, the Marine Corps unveiled a $30 million expansion of its mock Afghan village at Camp Pendleton that nearly quadrupled its size. In that facility, Marines scramble through a maze of mud walls leading to mosques, schools and carpet sellers, as Hollywood-style explosions go off.

Similar immersion training facilities are slated to open this year at Marine Corps bases in North Carolina, Hawaii and Okinawa.

I bet that house to house checks for guns are part of this training and rounding up trouble makers. This is just a tool they are using to get ready for the collapse and the NWO takeover!!!! If you don't have your house in order now is the time to do so, because time is getting very short. Get ready to make a stand for freedom.

The American's Creed

This is in The Official Boy Scout Handbook from the 1980's and I think if it's good enough for them then our not so great leaders should learn it, know it and live it!!! What the hell happened to this country? As a kid I can remember everyday we would start the day off at school with the pledge of Allegiance to the flag. I had pride in the country when I was younger and I still do love the idea of a true free America where our rights and freedoms are not taken and walked on. This is from 1917

The Americans Creed
by William Tyler Page

I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed, a democracy in a republic, a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.

I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it, to support its Constitution, to obey its laws, to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies.

–Written 1917, accepted by the United States House of Representatives on April 3, 1918.

VICTORY

Sunday Morning And More

It's a nice day today and we will have temp's near 60* so I plan to get out and do a little walking. I will first clean the truck and check my survival bags in the truck and add a few new items. I will use the few days of good weather to get as much done as I can. I will work in the shop some today and tomorrow trying to slim line my stuff. Over the last year I have got rid of a lot of junk and still plan to do even more.
I was reading some of the blogs today and I see as many others do that we are doomed and this country has very little chance of ever getting back to the once great country it was. It's very sad that the people of this country have let the lying leaders of the United States lead us into this death march. The walking dead of this land will go were told to go and do as they are told to do; I for one will not bend to there lies and there evil deeds. Nor will I let my family or loved ones do the same. I am making a stand to stay free and live a life of true freedom for as long as I can. I control my life as best I can, but I know the rules and bullshit of the real world and some of the evil of the NWO still ooze into my life I just try as hard as I can to fight back as much of it as I can and I will fight till the day I die. I prep to survive and I prep to keep my family alive. Will the life I live down the road be easy? No! But I hope that because I took the time today to store needed items that tomorrow when the world is gone to hell in a hand basket my preps will make life a little bit easier. Prep now to survive down the road, and the road ahead is going to get bad, real bad! Get to work and prep!!!

Same Old Junk!!!!!!

If you look around the web and read some of the blogs you will see it's just the same old junk. Big Brother is messing with us just like always just now days he is stepping up the bullshit. I saw at Keep it Simple Survival with Mayberry( http://mayberry-keepitsimplestupid.blogspot.com/2011/01/game-on.html ) about a Guy that blogged about the shooting in Tucson and said some stuff that got his guns taken and his blog shut down. So free speech is gone, the right to keep and bear Arms is looking to be gone soon and it seams like every week we read about something new they need to take away from us for our on good. It want be long till every part of your life will be under the eye's of big brother. They want to tell us how to eat, drink, walk and talk every second of the day. They want us to be sheep under there care so when it's time to get rid of us all they will have to do is open the door to the slaughter house and we will walk right in. I'M NOT A SHEEP and will not walk to my slaughter. I will stand for my freedom and fight to keep my guns because it's my right as a American to Keep and bear Arms. I own my guns within the law and don't break any laws so they have zero reason to take my guns..... We must make a stand and push back before it's to late to push back. STAND UP AND FIGHT BECAUSE TOMORROW MY BE TO LATE!!!!

The Economic Collapse, 12 Scenarios

What could cause an economic collapse in 2011? Well, unfortunately there are quite a few “nightmare scenarios” that could plunge the entire globe into another massive financial crisis. The United States, Japan and most of the nations in Europe are absolutely drowning in debt. The Federal Reserve continues to play reckless games with the U.S. dollar. The price of oil is skyrocketing and the global price of food just hit a new record high. Food riots are already breaking out all over the world. Meanwhile, the rampant fraud and corruption going on in world financial markets is starting to be exposed and the whole house of cards could come crashing down at any time. Most Americans have no idea that a horrific economic collapse could happen at literally any time. There is no way that all of this debt and all of this financial corruption is sustainable. At some point we are going to reach a moment of “total system failure”.

So will it be soon? Let’s hope not. Let’s certainly hope that it does not happen in 2011. Many of us need more time to prepare. Most of our families and friends need more time to prepare. Once this thing implodes there isn’t going to be an opportunity to have a “do over”. We simply will not be able to put the toothpaste back into the tube again.

So we had all better be getting prepared for hard times. The following are 12 economic collapse scenarios that we could potentially see in 2011….

#1 U.S. debt could become a massive crisis at any moment. China is saying all of the right things at the moment, but many analysts are openly worried about what could happen if China suddenly decides to start dumping all of the U.S. debt that they have accumulated. Right now about the only thing keeping U.S. government finances going is the ability to borrow gigantic amounts of money at extremely low interest rates. If anything upsets that paradigm, it could potentially have enormous consequences for the entire world financial system.

#2 Speaking of threats to the global financial system, it turns out that “quantitative easing 2″ has had the exact opposite effect that Ben Bernanke planned for it to have. Bernanke insisted that the main goal of QE2 was to lower interest rates, but instead all it has done is cause interest rates to go up substantially. If Bernanke this incompetent or is he trying to mess everything up on purpose?

#3 The debt bubble that the entire global economy is based on could burst at any time and throw the whole planet into chaos. According to a new report from the World Economic Forum, the total amount of credit in the world increased from $57 trillion in 2000 to $109 trillion in 2009. The WEF says that now the world is going to need another $100 trillion in credit to support projected “economic growth” over the next decade. So is this how the new “global economy” works? We just keep doubling the total amount of debt every decade?

#4 As the U.S. government and the Federal Reserve continue to pump massive amounts of new dollars into the system, the floor could fall out from underneath the U.S. dollar at any time. The truth is that we are already starting to see inflation really accelerate and everyone pretty much acknowledges that official U.S. governments figures for inflation are an absolute joke. According to one new study, the cost of college tuition has risen 286% over the last 20 years, and the cost of “hospital, nursing-home and adult-day-care services” rose 269% during those same two decades. All of this happened during a period of supposedly “low” inflation. So what are price increases going to look like when we actually have “high” inflation?

#5 One of the primary drivers of global inflation during 2011 could be the price of oil. A large number of economists are now projecting that the price of oil could surge well past $100 dollars a barrel in 2011. If that happens, it is going to put significant pressure on the price of almost everything else in the entire global economy. In fact, as I have explained previously, the higher the price of oil goes, the faster the U.S. economy will decline.

#6 Food inflation is already so bad in some areas of the globe that it is setting off massive food riots in nations such as Tunisia and Algeria. In fact, there have been reports of people setting themselves on fire all over the Middle East as a way to draw attention to how desperate they are. So what is going to happen if global food prices go up another 10 or 20 percent and food riots spread literally all over the globe during 2011?

#7 There are persistent rumors that simply will not go away of massive physical gold and silver shortages. Demand for precious metals has never been higher. So what is going to happen when many investors begin to absolutely insist on physical delivery of their precious metals? What is going to happen when the fact that far, far, far more “paper gold” and “paper silver” has been sold than has ever actually physically existed in the history of the planet starts to come out? What would that do to the price of gold and silver?

#8 The U.S. housing industry could plunge the U.S. economy into another recession at any time. The real estate market is absolutely flooded with homes and virtually nobody is buying. This massive oversupply of homes means that the construction of new homes has fallen off a cliff. In 2010, only 703,000 single family, multi-family and manufactured homes were completed. This was a new record low, and it was down 17% from the previous all-time record which had just been set in 2009.

#9 A combination of extreme weather and disease could make this an absolutely brutal year for U.S. farmers. This winter we have already seen thousands of new cold weather and snowfall records set across the United States. Now there is some very disturbing news emerging out of Florida of an “incurable bacteria” that is ravaging citrus crops all over Florida. Is there a reason why so many bad things are happening all of a sudden?

#10 The municipal bond crisis could go “supernova” at any time. Already, investors are bailing out of bonds at a frightening pace. State and local government debt is now sitting at an all-time high of 22 percent of U.S. GDP. According to Meredith Whitney, the municipal bond crisis that we are facing is a gigantic threat to our financial system….

“It has tentacles as wide as anything I’ve seen. I think next to housing this is the single most important issue in the United States and certainly the largest threat to the U.S. economy.”

Former Los Angeles mayor Richard Riordan is convinced that things are so bad that literally 90% of our states and cities could go bankrupt over the next five years….

#11 Of course on top of everything else, the quadrillion dollar derivatives bubble could burst at any time. Right now we are watching the greatest financial casino in the history of the globe spin around and around and around and everyone is hoping that at some point it doesn’t stop. Today, most money on Wall Street is not made by investing in good business ideas. Rather, most money on Wall Street is now made by making the best bets. Unfortunately, at some point the casino is going to come crashing down and the game will be over.

#12 The biggest wildcard of all is war. The Korean peninsula came closer to war in 2010 than it had in decades. The Middle East could literally explode at any time. We live in a world where a single weapon can take out an entire city in an instant. All it would take is a mid-size war or a couple of weapons of mass destruction to throw the entire global economy into absolute turmoil.

Once again, let us hope that none of these economic collapse scenarios happens in 2011.

However, we have got to realize that we can’t keep dodging these bullets forever.

As bad as 2010 was, the truth is that it went about as good as any of us could have hoped. Things are still pretty stable and times are still pretty good right now.

But instead of using these times to “party”, we should be using them to prepare.

A really, really vicious economic storm is coming and it is going to be a complete and total nightmare. Get ready, hold on tight, and say your prayers.

Suburban Survivalists Stock Up

Some of the walking dead are coming alive, but watch the video and at the end hear the ready.gov plug and the three days of food deal. I think it's good that more people are starting to stock up but will they stick with it? I have been a survivalist for more than 20 years and just keep adding to my preps. Will the new suburban walking dead keep up the hard work? Will they get a gun and ammo and learn to use in to keep there family safe and keep the storage items they have? I'm not sure but even a few of the knuckle heads at my work are starting to wake up. I'm not sure if people know just how bad the collapse can and will be...... Keep up your hard work on your prepping because one day you will be sitting down to eat when other have nothing or very little to eat and you will survive the collapse...

Winter Weather

SURVIVAL TIPS
Everyone should be cautious about traveling in extreme
winter weather. Cold, snow and ice are demanding on
cars, drivers and passengers. Cold affects metal, rubber
and other materials in your car. It can reduce the effectiveness
of your vehicle’s battery by at least 50 percent.
It can freeze tires and keep them flat on the bottom for
at least the first half-mile of travel. It can thicken your
car’s lubricants, making the engine work too hard.
Most importantly, extreme winter weather can threaten
your life. Follow these tips to stay safe as you drive
in Minnesota.
Plan Before You Travel
Simple planning can save you trouble and even save
your life.
Prepare Your Vehicle
Be sure your vehicle is in good winter driving condition.
Take along the emergency equipment referred to in this
booklet and keep it accessible.
Keep your gas tank at least one-half full.
Be Aware of the Weather
Listen to forecasts, road reports and storm warnings.
Dress appropriately. Pack extra scarves and mittens.
Allow extra time for trips in severe weather.
Make Yourself Easy to Find
Tell someone where you are going and the route you
will take. Report your safe arrival. If you stall or get
stuck, tie a colored banner (from your winter survival
kit) to your antenna or hang it out a window. At night,
remove the cover from your dome light and turn the
light on. Road crews or rescue units can see a small
glow at a considerable distance. To reduce battery
drain, use emergency flashers only if you hear
approaching vehicles. Keep one person on watch;
don’t let everyone rest at the same time.
Stay in Your Vehicle
Walking in a storm can be very dangerous. You might
lose your way or become exhausted, collapse and risk
your life. Your vehicle is a good shelter.
Avoid Overexertion
Shoveling snow or repositioning your car by pushing it
takes a lot of effort in storm conditions. You could risk
heart attack or injury. Take it easy!
Keep Cool — Two Ways
1. Calm down and think. The storm will end
and you will be found.
2. Don’t work enough to get hot and sweaty.
Wet clothing loses insulation value, making you
susceptible to hypothermia.
Keep Fresh Air in Your Vehicle
It’s much better to be cold and awake than comfortably
warm and sleepy. Wet or wind-driven snow can plug
your vehicle’s exhaust system and cause deadly carbon
monoxide gas to enter your vehicle. Don’t run the
engine unless you are sure the exhaust pipe is free
of snow. Keep snow off the radiator to prevent the
engine from overheating.
Stay Warm Without Fuel
Keep your blood circulating freely by loosening tight
clothing, changing positions frequently and moving
your arms and legs. Huddle close to one another.
Rub your hands together or put them in your armpits
or between your legs. Remove your shoes occasionally
and rub your feet.
Don’t Expect to Be Comfortable
The challenge is to survive until you’re found.

Making a Winter Driving Survival Kit
Use an empty three-pound coffee can or any similar
container with a plastic cover to store the following
items:
- Small candles and matches
- Small, sharp knife and plastic spoons
- Red bandanna or cloth
- Pencil and paper
- Large plastic garbage bag
- Safety pins
- Whistle
- Snacks
- Cell phone adapter to plug into lighter
- Plastic flashlight and spare batteries
Reverse batteries in the flashlight to avoid accidental
switching and burnout. Warm batteries before using
them. Store safety items in the passenger compartment
when severe winter weather threatens in case
the trunk is jammed or frozen shut. Choose small
packages of food that you can eat hot or cold.
Suggested food items:
- Raisins in small packets
- Semi-sweet chocolate in pieces for sharing
- Miniature candy bars
- Chewing gum
- Wrapped hard candies
- Food bars
- Canned soup, meat and poultry
Store bulky and heavy items in an
accessible place:
- 30-foot cord to use as homing line when you must
exit the vehicle
- Booster cables
- Basic tools
- Sand, cat litter or other grit in a plastic milk carton
- Shovel
- Tow cables or chain
- Sleeping bag or blankets
- Road flares and reflectors
- Snowmobile suit and heavy boots

Winter Driving Tips
Be Able to See and Be Seen
Clean frost and snow off all windows, mirrors, lights
and reflectors. Equip your car with good wiper blades
and keep an ample supply of windshield washer fluid.
If visibility is poor, use headlamps.
Get a Feel for the Road
When you first start out, accelerate carefully to test
wheel-spin and brake gently to test skidding.
Be Gentle
Use the accelerator and brakes slowly to maintain
control of your vehicle. Fast acceleration can make
wheels spin on ice and snow. Brake with a gentle
pumping action. Stepping too hard on the pedal will
lock the brakes and cause loss of steering control.
Increase Your Following Distance
Ice or snow can multiply your stopping distance up
to ten times.
Make Turns Slowly and Gradually
Heavily traveled intersections can become “polished”
and slick. Brake before you come to a curve, not while
you are in it.
Turn in the Direction of the Skid
If the rear of your car begins to slide, turn into the
direction of the skid. Expect a second skid as the car
straightens out, and be prepared to counter this
sliding action.
Scattered Slippery Spots
Icy spots on the road surface can cause loss of
steering control. Do not use your brake. Take your
foot off the gas and steer as straight as possible until
your car slows to a safe speed.
Avoiding a Collision
In an emergency situation, you can intentionally steer
your car off the road and into a snow bank. You may
get stuck, but you’ll avoid a crash.

A Few New Things

I'm working on a few new things to add to my preps.

1st is a new cart that can be pulled by one or two people. I have a small one but it just can't do what I want it to do, so I want to build one that can hold more stuff and still be pulled on foot. I hope that if I have to bug out I can do it in the Dodge Ram and not on foot but I need to be ready for it both ways. I am planning to build a new one within the next month. If any of you have done this or have any good ideas please let me know. You can just post it here with a comment or e-mail me at:

2nd I am working on my ammo stock and adding and packing up ammo in ammo cans. I want to can all my ammo ready to move if need be.

3rd My new skill I am learning this first three months is How To Sew. My wife all ways has done this and I think it's about time for me to know how to do it 100% and not half crocked. And my next skill I plan to learn is how to cut hair, my wife shaves my head and cares for my needs I need to be able to do the same for her, so I will work with a friend that cuts hair and learn how to do this if it kills me.

4th Trying to make up my mind on what will be the next gun I buy, right now I have on idea what I will get.

5th This summer me and the wife are going on a trip to look at some land to buy. We have a few lots we want to look at and are planning to make this a fun trip and a working one at the same time.

Here We Go...... Going After The Guns And Ammo!!!!!!

Statement by Rep. Carolyn McCarthy, Gun Control Advocate, On Saturday's Shooting in Arizona
Sunday January 09, 2011

GARDEN CITY, NY – Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy (NY-04), Congress's face of gun control and anti-gun-violence measures after a gunman took the life of her husband and injured her son in a 1993 shooting, issued the following statement regarding the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and others in Arizona:

"One of the greatest privileges of being an American is the freedom to peaceably assemble in public. One of the greatest pleasures of being an elected official is meeting with constituents in their communities in order to help them. As someone who's experienced senseless gun violence firsthand, I'm praying for my colleague Rep. Giffords, the others shot with her and all their families today. This is clearly an illustration of why we must all work together to fight gun violence in America and keep dangerous weapons out of the hands of the wrong people."
The above was found at Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy web site.......

Just to add to her statement one other great privileges of being an American is:
AMENDMENT II
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the RIGHT of the people to KEEP AND BEAR ARMS, shall NOT be INFRINGED.

I think the shooting on Sat. was a sick thing and the guy who did it is a nut job times ten. But the left is going to jump all over this to push every dumb ass new gun law they can find or make up. And when the smoke clears the only people who will get hurt is the law abiding people. Gun laws don't stop fools, crazy people, thugs or low life criminals. The only thing that most gun laws do is tie the hands of law abiding people. The group of great(Bullshit) leaders are hell bound set on getting our guns! Just to let you all know that my line in the sand is the gun grab. I will not give up my guns, ammo, food, water or survival supplies..... Ever!!!

Keep your eye's open and your ear to the ground, because I am sure more bullshit is just around the corner! And I'm about 99% sure the 2nd Amendment is going to come under great attack in the next few weeks and months.

Why???

I think this shooting was a unthinkable tragedy and as we all know there are a lot of crazy people out there and as unthinkable as this my be it can and has happened. My prayers go out to the loss of life, the ones wounded and a community left in a mess. The first thing I heard about this was when it just happened and then I stuck to the Fox news for over an hour then I went on line to look around to see what I could find. And just as I told my wife the Tea Party and or other conservatives would be the first ones blamed for this. Then I saw that someone asked Gabrielle Giffords father if she had any enemies?, "Yeah," he told The New York Post. "The whole tea party." And I'm sure the Tea Party want her out of office but not like this.
This was at The Blaze:
According to Business Insider, a woman claiming to have been a classmate of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords‘ alleged shooter Jared Loughner says he has run into the Congresswoman once before and that he’s “left wing” and “quite liberal.” That comes as some on the left are trying to paint Loughner as one who succumbed to angry, Tea Party rhetoric.
I'm not part of the Tea Party but I don't see them being a part of something like this, because this was done by a NUT!! Because you have to be crazy as hell to just go off shooting into a group of people just standing at an event to see a Congresswoman make a speach. And all the left wing liberal news is pushing this on Glenn Beck, Palin, and Limbaugh when this guy was just a liberal nut job, and I don't care who he pulls for in office he shot and killed a little 9 year old girl who will never get to grow up or live a full life. And because he killed a U.S. District Judge he will face the hand of death and will not come out a winner.

Establishment Media Demonizes Tea Party and Constitutionalists After Giffords Shooting
Kurt Nimmo
Infowars.com
January 9, 2011

Get ready for the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords to be used in a serious way against the Tea Party movement. MSNBC, CNN and the rest of the Mockingbird media are now attempting to portray millions of Americans as violence prone anti-government radicals.

Fox News attributes the shooting to anti-government sentiment.

In the hours following the shooting liberal bloggers blamed Sarah Palin’s mid-term election rhetoric for the Gifford shooting. Palin’s campaign organization, SarahPac, posted an ad targeting Democrat Giffords for defeat during the election. The liberal blogosphere is directly accusing Palin of stoking hatred against the Arizona Congresswoman that led to the shooting in a Tucson parking lot.

Daily Kos and FireDogLake have taken up the charge and are blaming Palin directly. Sarah Palin is not an anti-government radical – she is part of the establishment Republican party and to accuse her of calling for the assassination of Gifford is ludicrous.

The word “target” is a well established part of the Democrat-Republican political lexicon.

In a Tweet, suspected CIA operative Markos Moulitsas of Daily Kos wrote sarcastically: “Mission accomplished, Sarah Palin.”

Arizona Democrat Rep. Raul Grijalva denounced what he describes as a political environment poisoned by “anger, hatred, and division.” Grijalva blamed the Tea Party movement: “[When] you stoke these flames, and you go to public meetings and you scream at the elected officials, you threaten them – you make us expendable you make us part of the cannon fodder. For a while, you’ve been feeding this hatred, this division… you feed it, you encourage it…. Something’s going to happen. People are feeding this monster…. Some of the extreme right wing has made demonization of elected officials their priority.”

In other words when citizens victimized by a predatory and arrogant government angrily confront their so-called representatives, it is tantamount of calling for violence and assassination.

“I think that Sarah has finally yelled fire in a crowded theatre,” a post on the Firedoglake blog avers. “If they can show that this dipstick was in any way influenced by Palin’s dog-whistle advocacy of violence, they need to drag her ass in for an arraignment.”

“I know Sarah and the GOP spamming their mentally ill constituency that it is, ‘OK to kill people if they don’t share your beliefs’ doesn’t help the situation but it is really too early to say what the attacker’s motives were,” said another.

“This tragedy rests sorely on your doorstep Ms. Palin,” blogger Bartholomew Hayes wrote. “Your irresponsible rhetoric has brought senseless violence against the American people.”

All of this posturing is absurd. Sarah Palin is obviously a creation of the establishment. She was appointed the unofficial leader of the Tea Party movement after a large part of it was craftily transformed by operatives into a harmless cheerleading section for the Republican party. Palin’s handlers made sure she publicly kissed the ring of top level Rockefeller minion and notorious unapprehended war criminal Henry Kissinger.

"A lot of people have bets on how long it will take before they blame this on the tea party and that’s absolutely ridiculous,” Debbie Dooley, a national coordinator for Tea Party Patriots, told Congress.org.

The Tea Party movement originally established by Libertarians and Ron Paul and subsequently co-opted and brought trance-like into the Republican party Borg hive is not a threat to the establishment.

The real Tea Party not co-opted by Republicans is the obvious target of what yet may turn out to be another staged event. Sarah Palin is the television reality show queen and propped up figurehead of an orchestrated movement funded in part by the CIA operative Richard Mellon Scaife.

The CIA has perfected the art of undermining and destroying indigneous political movements in opposition to the ruling elite and their power structures and institutions. The FBI’s covert and illegal COINTELPRO operation took down countless political movements, most notably the anti-war and civil rights movements of the 1960s. Fred Hampton and other Black Panthers were assassinated as part of the FBI’s reign of terror.

“Regardless of why the shooting took place, there will be a lot of talk about violence in America in coming days,” warns corporate behemoth Time Magazine.

In addition to further demonizing the Tea Party and other constitutionalist and patriotic movements, the brutal murder of innocents and the serious wounding of a Democrat Congress critter will be used to ramp up the statist argument that Congress needs to pass gun control legislation. The visage of Timothy McVeigh and homegrown terrorism will also get a new lease on life.

“Others on the left have taken it upon themselves to politicize this event by trying to paint it as an argument for stronger gun control laws,” warns Solomon Kleinsmith. “This coming even as we know next to nothing about this Jared Lee Loughner character, where he got his weapon, or if there was any history of violent legal problems.”

For the elite, the problem is not violence. It is the existence of and threat posed by a viable and growing constitutionalist movement that demands the Federal Reserve be closed down and the banksters responsible for the unfolding global economic crisis be arrested and tried for crimes against humanity.

You Could Have Heard A Pin Drop!

At a time when our president and other politicians tend to apologize for our country's prior actions, here's a refresher on how some of our former patriots handled negative comments about our country.

These are good

JFK'S
Secretary of State, Dean Rusk, was in France in the early 60's when
DeGaulle decided to pull out of NATO. DeGaulle said he wanted all US
military out of France as soon as possible.

Rusk responded,
"Does that include those who are buried here?"

DeGaulle
did not respond.

You
could have heard a pin drop.

When in England , at a fairly large conference, Colin Powell was asked by the
Archbishop of Canterbury if our plans for Iraq were just an example of
'empire building' by George Bush.

He answered by saying,
"Over the years, the United States has sent many of
its fine young men and women into great peril to fight for freedom
beyond our borders. The only amount of land we have ever asked for
in return is enough to bury those that did not return."
You
could have heard a pin drop.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There was a conference in France
where a number of international engineers
were taking part, including French and American. During a break,
one of the French engineers came back into the room saying, "Have you
heard the latest dumb stunt Bush has done? He has sent an aircraft
carrier to Indonesia to help the tsunami victims. What does he intend to do, bomb them?"
A Boeing engineer stood up and replied quietly: "Our carriers have three
hospitals on board that can treat several hundred people; they are
nuclear powered and can supply emergency electrical power to
shore facilities; they have three cafeterias with the capacity to
feed 3,000 people three meals a day, they can produce several thousand
gallons of fresh water from sea water each day, and they carry half a
dozen helicopters for use in transporting victims and injured to and
from their flight deck. We have eleven such ships; how many does France have?"
A U.S. Navy Admiral
was attending a naval conference that included
Admirals from the U.S., English, Canadian, Australian and French Navies At a cocktail reception, he found himself standing with a large
group of officers that included personnel from most of those countries..
Everyone was chatting away in English as they sipped their drinks but a
French admiral suddenly complained that, whereas Europeans learn many
languages, Americans learn only English. He then asked, "Why is it that we always have to speak English in these conferences rather than speaking French?"
Without hesitating,
the American Admiral replied, "Maybe it's because the
Brit's, Canadians, Aussie's and Americans arranged it so you wouldn't have to speak German."
AND
THIS STORY FITS RIGHT IN WITH THE ABOVE...
Robert Whiting, an elderly gentleman of 83, arrived in Paris by plane. At French Customs, he took a few minutes to locate his passport in his carry on.
"You have been to France before, monsieur?" the customs officer asked sarcastically.
Mr. Whiting admitted that he had been to France
previously.
"Then you should know enough to have your passport ready."
The American said, "The last time I was here, I didn't have to show it."
"Impossible..
Americans always have to show their passports on arrival in France !"
The American senior gave the Frenchman a long hard look. Then he
quietly explained, ''Well, when I came ashore at Omaha Beach on D-Day in
1944 to help liberate this country, I couldn't find a single Frenchmen to show a passport to."
You
could have heard a pin drop.
Treating for Cold Exposure and Frostbite
I found this info at: http://www.textfiles.com/survival/117.txt
The following material may assist you in treating a victim for
exposure to the cold and also how to deal with frostbite. This
information is derived from "Advanced First Aid & Emergency Care,"
2nd edition, by the American Red Cross. To obtain a copy of this
book and to take instruction in first aid, please contact the local
office of the American Red Cross. They are listed in the white
pages of your telephone book.
The extent of injury caused by exposure to abnormally low
temperature generally depends on such factors as wind velocity,
type and duration of exposure, temperature and humidity.
Freezing is accelerated by wind, humidity or a combination of
the two. Injury caused by cold, dry air will be less than that
caused by cold, moist air or exposure to cold air while wearing wet
clothing. Fatigue, smoking, drinking of alcoholic beverages,
emotional stress and the presence of wounds or fractures intensity
the harmful effects of cold.
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS
The general manifestations of prolonged exposure to extreme
cold include shivering, numbness, low body temperature, drowsiness
and marked muscular weakness. As time passes there is mental
confusion and impairment of judgment. The victim staggers, his
eyesight fails, he falls and he may become unconscious. Shock is
evident and the victim's heart may develop fibrillation. Death, if
it occurs, is usually due to heart failure.
Frostbite results when crystals form, either superficially or
deeply in the fluids and the underlying soft tissues of the skin.
The effects are more severe if the injured area is thawed and then
refrozen. Frostbite is the most common injury caused by exposure to
the cold elements. Usually, the frozen area is small. the nose,
cheeks, ears, fingers and toes are the most commonly affected.
Just before frostbite occurs, the affected skin may be slight-
ly flushed. The skin changes to white or grayish yellow as the
frostbite develops. Pain is sometimes felt early but subsides
later. Often there is NO pain; the part being frostbitten simply
feels intensely cold and numb. The victim commonly is not aware of
frostbite until someone tells him or until he observes his pale,
glossy skin. The extent of local injury cannot be determined
accurately on initial examination, even after rewarming. The extent
of tissue damage usually corresponds to that in burns. In superfi-
cial frostbite, there will be an area that looks white or grayish
and the surface skin will feel hard but the underlying tissue will
be soft. With deeper involvement, large blisters appear on the
surface, as well as in underlying tissue, and the affected area is
hard, cold and insensitive. Destruction of the entire thickness of
the skin will necessitate skin grafting and will constitute a
medical emergency, because gangrene may result from loss of blood
supply to the injured part.
FIRST AID
The objectives of first aid are to protect the frozen area
from further injury, to warm the affected part rapidly and to
maintain respiration. Formerly, it was recommended that victims of
frostbite be treated by slow warming -- rubbing with snow and
gradually increasing the temperature. But recent studies have shown
conclusively that much better results are obtained if the affected
part is WARMED RAPIDLY in running or circulating water, unless the
part has been thawed and refrozen, in which case it should be
warmed at room temperature (from 70 to 74 degrees Fahrenheit). Do
NOT use excessive heat, as from a stove, hot water bottles, elec-
tric blankets or other devices.
FROSTBITE
1. Cover the frozen part.
2. Provide extra clothing and blankets.
3. Bring the victim indoors as soon as possible.
4. Give him a warm drink (not alcoholic!).
5. Rewarm the frozen part QUICKLY by immersing it in water that
is warm but not hot. Test the water by pouring some over the
inner surface of your forearm or place a thermometer in the
water and carefully add warm water to keep the temperature
between 102 degrees and 105 degrees Fahrenheit. If warm water
is not available or practical to use, wrap the affected part
in a sheet and warm blankets.
6. Handle the area of the frostbite GENTLY and DO NOT MASSAGE IT.
Severe swelling will develop rapidly after thawing. Discon-
tinue warming as soon as the part becomes flushed (turning
red). Once the part is rewarmed, have the victim exercise it.
7. Cleanse the affected area with water and either soap or a mild
detergent (NOT laundry or dishwasher detergent, though; they
can be caustic and cause a chemical burn). Rinse it thorough-
ly. Carefully blot dry with sterile or clean towels. Do NOT
break the blisters.
8. If the victim's fingers or toes are involved, place dry,
sterile gauze between them to keep them separated.
9. Do NOT apply other dressings unless the victim is to be
transported to medical aid.
10. Elevate frostbitten parts and protect them from contact with
bedclothes.
11. Do NOT allow the victim to walk after the affected part thaws,
if his feet are involved.
12. Do not apply additional heat and do not allow the victim to
sit near a radiator, stove or fire. The numbed part may be
severely burned and the victim might never realize it is
happening to him.
13. If a person with frozen feet is alone and MUST walk to get
medical assistance, he should NOT attempt thawing in advance.
14. If travel after receiving first aid is necessary, cover the
affected parts with a sterile or clean cloth.
15. Obtain medical assistance as soon as possible. If the distance
to be covered is great, apply temporary dressings to the hands
if they have been affected by frostbite.
16. Keep injured parts elevated during transportation.
17. If medical help or trained ambulance personnel will not reach
the scene for an hour or more AND if the victim is CONSCIOUS
and NOT VOMITING, give him a weak solution of salt and baking
soda at home or while enroute (1 level teaspoon of salt and
1/2 level teaspoon of baking soda in each quart of water,
neither hot nor cold). Do not give alcoholic beverages. Allow
the victim to sip S-L-O-W-L-Y. Give an adult about 4 ounces (a
half glass) over a period of 15 minutes; give a child from 1
to 12 years old about 2 ounces; give an infant (under 1 year
old) about 1 ounce every 15 minutes. Discontinue giving fluids
if vomiting occurs. Fluid may be given by mouth ONLY if
medical help will not be available for an hour or more and is
not otherwise contraindicated.
PROLONGED EXPOSURE
1. Give the victim artificial respiration, if necessary.
2. Bring the victim into a warm room as quickly as possible.
3. Remove wet or frozen clothing and anything that constricts the
victim's arms, legs or fingers and might interfere with
circulation as the frozen part is thawed and swelling begins.
4. Rewarm the victim rapidly by wrapping him in a warm blanket or
by placing him in a tub of water that is warmed to 102 to 105
degrees Fahrenheit. If a thermometer is not available, make
sure the water is not hot to YOUR hand and forearm.
5. If the victim is conscious, give him hot liquids (but not
alcohol) by mouth.
6. Dry the victim thoroughly if water was used to rewarm him.
7. Carry out the appropriate procedures as described under frost-
bite.
A First!!!!
The House Republicans' reading of the Constitution today was the first time the 222-year-old governing document had been read in its entirety on the House Floor. I find it very had to understand how this is the first time the Constitution as been read out loud on the House Floor. The Constitution for the United States of America is the law that we built this Country on. I think that it should be read every year on the first day back to work for our leaders. They are in office for the people by the people. I just wish they would act like it just once and hear what the people have to say and do what we want done! There is light at the end of the tunnel and I still think it's a train!!!! Wake up and save yourself! Stock up of needed items now and prep, prep, prep as if your life depends on your storage because it will. The collapse is coming in a week, month, months or a year but it is coming and most people think it's here now and we are on a slow down hill run and the big bang is coming soon. Just look around and you can see that things are bad and getting worse, just look at the cost of food it's going up every week and gas is going up every other few days. A penny here and a few pennies there it all adds up and before we know it we are at $5 a gallon gas and when gas goes up everything that is shipped by truck or train goes up.
Take some time and set up a plan to store food if not for the collapse do it to save a little money because food is only going up in price. And everything you get now at a lower price is money you save down the road and on top of it all you have some food stored for a bad time to. So if you don't prep get to it NOW!!!!
A Little Gun Wisdom........
The purpose of fighting is to win. There is no possible victory in defense.. The sword is more important than the shield, and skill is more important than either. The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental.
1. Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he'll just kill you.
2. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.
3. I carry a gun cause a cop is too heavy.
4. When seconds count, the cops are just minutes away.
5. A reporter did a human-interest piece on the Texas Rangers. The reporter recognized the Colt Model 1911 the Ranger was carrying and asked him 'Why do you carry a 45?' The Ranger responded, 'Because they don't make a 46.'
6. An armed man will kill an unarmed man with monotonous regularity.
7. The old sheriff was attending an awards dinner when a lady commented on his wearing his sidearm. 'Sheriff, I see you have your pistol. Are you expecting trouble?' 'No ma'am. If I were expecting trouble, I would have brought my rifle.'
8. Beware of the man who only has one gun, because he probably knows how to use it very well.
'The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.
' G. K. Chesterton
A people that values its privileges above its principles will soon lose both.
"Those who hammer their guns into plows will plow for those who do not...." - Thomas Jefferson
Drying
Sun Drying
The high sugar and acid content of fruits make them safe to dry out-of-doors when conditions are favorable for drying. Vegetables (with the exception of vine dried beans) and meats are not recommended for out-of-doors drying. Vegetables are low in sugar and acid. This increases the risks for food spoilage. Meats are high in protein, making them ideal for microbial growth when heat and humidity cannot be controlled. It is best to dry meats and vegetables indoors using controlled conditions of an oven or food dehydrator.
Sun-dried raisins are the best known of all dried foods. California produces much of the world's supply of raisins. In the San Joaquin Valley, warm temperatures, low humidity and a constant breeze are ideal conditions for drying grapes.
To dry fruits out-of-doors hot, dry, breezy days are best. A minimum temperature of 85ºF is needed with higher temperatures being better. It takes several days to dry foods out-of-doors. Because the weather is uncontrollable, drying fruits out-of-doors can be risky. If it rains in California while the grapes are drying, the entire supply of raisins can be destroyed.
High humidity in the South is a problem for drying fruits out-of-doors. A humidity below 60 percent is best. Often these ideal conditions are not available when the fruit ripens and other alternatives to dry the food are needed.
Fruits dried out-of-doors must be covered or brought under shelter at night. The cool night air condenses and could add moisture back to the food, thus slowing down the drying process.
Equipment
Racks or screens placed on blocks allow for better air movement around the food. Because the ground may be moist, it is best to place the racks or screens on a concrete driveway or if possible over a sheet of aluminum or tin. The reflection of the sun on the metal increases the drying temperature.
Screens need to be safe for contact with food. The best screens are stainless steel, Teflon-coated fiberglass and plastic. Avoid screens made from "hardware cloth." This is galvanized metal cloth that is coated with cadmium or zinc. These metals can oxidize, leaving harmful residues on the food. Also avoid copper and aluminum screening. Copper destroys vitamin C and increases oxidation. Aluminum tends to discolor and corrode.
Because birds and insects are attracted to dried fruits, two screens are best for drying food. One screen acts as a shelf and the other as a protective cover. Cheesecloth could also be used to cover the food.
Resolve to be Ready in 2011
This is the new push from ready.gov for the walking dead. I sat down at the computer and looked at 80-90% of the info on the web site and all good info, but it just leaves out the 2nd, 3rd and 4th parts to most of the info. They say to store three days worth of food, OK then after the three days what do you do next? FEMA and ready.gov have for years been pushing this three days of food and water and the 1,2,3 of ready.gov is the 1) Get a Kit 2)Make a Plan 3)Be Informed. Just enough info to get the sheeple killed!!
This is from the web site:
As the New Year approaches, the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Ready Campaign is once again reminding people to Resolve to be Ready in 2011. Americans who make New Year’s resolutions are 11 times more likely to report continued success in achieving a goal than individuals who have not made a resolution, according to the Journal of Clinical Psychology. The Ready Campaign would like to make an emergency preparedness resolution easy to keep by providing the tools and resources needed to take the three important steps: get a kit, make a plan and be informed about the different types of emergencies that can happen in your area and their appropriate responses. We hope you will join the Ready Campaign this Holiday Season in promoting Resolve to be Ready.
On this page you will find a toolkit to help your organization develop internal and external messages to encourage your members, employees, constituents, customers and community to make a New Year's resolution to prepare for emergencies. You will also find Web banners for your organization's Web site, a sample E-mail and a Newsletter you can share with your key constituents.
This is a big ball of crap.......
Big push to set up the walking dead to become refugees so big brother and FEMA can jump in and lead you to safety at the nice FEMA Camps where everyone get an RFID Tracking Chip, Flu Shots and a nice warm blanket with small pox and then after a long day of trains and walking to Camp FEMA you get a nice meal made with food genetically engineered by good ole Monsanto!!!! What a way to live....... for as long as they let you live or until you cost more than you can work. As soon as they don't need you or you can't work anymore you will be dead!!!!
This Country Is Going Down The Drain!!!!
How long can this Country hold on? How long will it be before the collapse hits? Let me know what you think and post a comment........
???!!!! Crazy Weekend ???!!!!!
Had a crazy weekend, but did get a few things done. I went to the Sportsman's Warehouse and now have a plan on how to use the gift cards I have left. Worked on the shop a little more and got rid of more junk I just don't need. I was on the fence about my woodworking tools but with a little talking from my wife and a little thinking on my part I am keeping most of them. I did get rid of a few items so far but what I have left I will keep. With what I have left I can still make all the little small items I have made for years. Set up my plan for food prep for the next six months. Over the next six months I would like to add 3-6 more months of food to my preps. I have a plan for adding more ammo to my preps this year. All the stores have ammo again and I am buying it one or two boxes at a time every week. I would like to get one brick of 22LR every week this year and I am off to a good start I got two boxes today and plan to get two more next week. If I can get 550 rounds of 22LR each week this year I would add 28600 rounds to my preps by the end of the year, that is if we can get to the end of this year. Who knows any more? I know I don't I was sure the Christmas shopping season would be bad, but I was wrong and the walking dead went out a used the plastic right and left. We had a smaller Christmas this year and by small I would say we went down 75% on what we spent and made better shopping choices and the kids were just as happy and we did it with all cash! We don't have a credit card, just a debt card with the Visa logo on it so we can shop on line and rent cars or fly, but we don't fly anymore. We are planning a trip to the east coast and we are 70-30 on driving and not flying, we will have to see how it goes. As long as TSA is acting like thugs I will not fly.
I hope everyone had a great weekend and are ready to start the new year off right.
